Most condos under $500,000 require tradeoffs. You give up parking. You give up a second bedroom. You give up outdoor space. You give up in-unit laundry. Not here. Unit #109 delivers two true bedrooms, in-unit laundry, elevator access, a dedicated parking space, and a private fenced patio in the heart of Fremont. Value all day. If you have been waiting for an updated, modern condo that actually checks boxes rather than forcing compromises, this is worth a serious look.

From the Neighbors

Living in Fremont is an absolute blast! It's a neighborhood where every day is filled with excitement and joy. Personally, I'm thrilled to be a part of this vibrant community. I'm lucky to work at Children's Hospital, and my mornings are a delight as I hop on my bike to cruise along the scenic Burke-Gilman Trail. The thrill of the ride never gets old! And let's talk about the Fremont Farmers Market – it's an absolute gem! The lively atmosphere, the fresh produce, the delightful artisanal treats – it's a weekly adventure that I look forward to with pure enthusiasm. Fremont truly knows how to infuse happiness into everyday life, making it a place that always leaves you with a smile.

I lived in Fremont for 6 years and it was lovely! It is centrally located in Seattle with plenty of bus routes or easy access to other parts of town. In both lower and upper Fremont, everything you may need is within walking distance. Cafes, bars, restaurants and grocery stores are just around any corner. The only downside is that street parking can be limited at times.

Your New Home

At 821 square feet, the layout is efficient and balanced. There is no wasted space. The kitchen was updated in 2020 with quartz counters, refreshed cabinetry, and newer appliances. It opens cleanly into the main living area, creating a layout that works for everyday living and entertaining without feeling segmented. Luxury vinyl plank flooring runs through the main spaces. Carpet is reserved for the bedrooms, keeping them quiet and comfortable. Both bedrooms are legitimate rooms. Not a den. Not a corner carved out of the living room. That matters for flexibility today and resale tomorrow. A small thing you will notice immediately: the space feels calm. Clean finishes, a straightforward layout, and a living area that is easy to furnish without playing Tetris with your furniture. The north-facing exposure maintains privacy and stable indoor temperatures year-round. You do not get harsh afternoon heat. You get consistency. The private patio is fenced and functional. It is large enough for a grill, seating, and pets. In a dense neighborhood like Fremont, usable outdoor space meaningfully separates one condo from the next.

Th Fremont Neighborhood

Fremont: Walk Score of 95. Bike Score of 90. You are not adjacent to Fremont. You are in it. This location is built for day-to-day convenience. Quick access to major transit corridors, easy bike connectivity, and a short hop to the Burke-Gilman for commuting and weekend rides. South Lake Union and downtown are straightforward from here, and you are also well positioned for Ballard, Wallingford, and Queen Anne. Fremont continues to be one of Seattle’s most durable condo submarkets because of employment proximity and lifestyle density. Demand here has historically been resilient relative to similarly priced units in less central neighborhoods. If long-term location fundamentals matter to you, this one checks that box decisively.

The Callisto

Built in 1969 and fully renovated on the exterior in 2017, the heavy lifting has already been done. Siding and windows were addressed as part of that renovation. This is not a building where future buyers will immediately worry about visible deferred maintenance. Elevator access improves day-to-day livability and expands the future buyer pool. That detail alone eliminates a segment of buyers in many older walk-ups. HOA dues of $697.04 reflect a building that has already invested in meaningful exterior improvements. Pet friendly. Secure. Established.

Walkability

This is one of those spots where you can stop “planning errands” and just go. Coffee run, real groceries, a bite to eat, and a beer with friends are all genuinely walkable, which is the whole point of living in Fremont. Here are some of your new local staples: Fremont Coffee Company is an easy default when you want to work for an hour or meet someone casually. Sea Wolf is the kind of bakery that turns “I’ll grab something quick” into “okay, I’m bringing home bread too.” Marketime Foods is right there for the practical stuff, not a specialty shop that only helps in theory. When you want something satisfying without overthinking it, Paseo is nearby and always delivers. And for a classic Seattle move, Fremont Brewing’s Urban Beer Garden is close enough to become a regular habit. If burgers are your thing, Uneeda Burger is another easy walk.
