Now, for those in the know, there are also many streets filled with turn-of-the-century charmers with plenty of room to breath.

I lived in Fremont for 6 years and it was lovely! It is centrally located in Seattle with plenty of bus routes or easy access to other parts of town. In both lower and upper Fremont, everything you may need is within walking distance. Cafes, bars, restaurants and grocery stores are just around any corner. The only downside is that street parking can be limited at times.
