Locals love North Seattle’s North Beach neighborhood, largely because of its small town vibes and just how peaceful everything is! In the meantime, QFC and Safeway (for example) are only ~1 mile away, with tons of eateries around and in between. Also, Swanson’s Nursery is practically right around the corner—head here when you need to pick up greenery for your holiday decor or spruce your garden up for spring and summer!

If you like to get around town via public transit, then you’re certainly in luck. The #18 bus picks up less than 2 blocks away, and you can take this bus line through Ballard and right to Downtown Seattle. Head a few blocks in the opposite direction to catch the #15 bus, which also goes through Ballard to Downtown. It’s always great to have a few options! For getting around via car, you can reach Highway 99 in just 7 minutes and Interstate-5 in just 8 minutes.

Being surrounded by parks and beaches is one of the big benefits of living in North Beach. But this particular location sweetens the deal with access to the private North Beach Club. Access is limited to members (residents in the immediate area surrounding the beach), associate members (residents included in a slightly wider radius), and their guests. Beach hours are from 5am to 10pm, dogs are allowed (as long as they are “under your control”), and you must pack out all trash.
