Style

The house is sort of mid-century mixed with a bit of industrial. I really wanted the home to be warm and relaxing. ALL the lights are on dimmers and programs. Really the place is best as the sun goes down. Great place to relax, grab a glass of wine and relax.

Views for days

The roof deck will steal the show. Views are in every direction. Mt. Rainier to the South, Puget Sound and the Olympics to the west, Downtown Seattle to the North, and Downtown Bellevue, Lake Washington, and the Cascade range to the East. The roof features multiple seating area's to a gas fire pit flacked by two couches with seating for six. Dining area off the BBQ with seating for six. Two loungers, and a bar height table for four all facing Puget Sound and Downtown Seattle.

Guest Access

Several coffee shops and restaurants a brisk five minute walk. Stroll over to Perihelion, NBH's new brewery, or eat some of the best wood fired pizza in Seattle at Bar Del Corso. No needs to worry about having a few drinks as all these culinary and cultural delights are minutes away.

Getting around Seattle

Light Rail Station is a six minute walk. Direct and quick Bus-line to downtown and Amazon's campus. Bus stop is across the street from our front door. Downtown is one mile away, SODO is less than half a mile away, and Capitol Hill is 1.8 miles from North Beacon Hill. This neighborhood already had a light rail station, and with new stations in Capitol Hill and University District, the rest of the city opens up!

I love going for walks in our neighborhood. There’s always other people out walking their dogs, and in the summer many people are out working in their gardens.

“Having bought and sold several homes, I can honestly say Matt and his team are the best in the business! Matt is knowledgeable, personable, and incredibly organized. After we moved out of state, he handled everything — from new carpets and painting to cleaning and staging. The whole process was seamless, and working with Matt and his team remotely was completely stress-free. Thank you so much for making it so easy!”

Sold a home in 2025 in Queen Anne, Seattle

“We've worked with Matt twice now (both times very successfully) and honestly wouldn't go to anyone else. This time around we got to work with the whole team - everyone is so great and they all go above and beyond. GHAH just makes the whole thing so much easier and Matt keeps it so real. From day one they actually listened to what we wanted and what our budget was, but kept our expectations inline with what was realistic. It feels like working with someone who is genuinely on our side. They're incredibly organized and communicative too. Appointments were always smooth, they do all the scheduling with other companies as needed, we always knew what was happening next, and we never had to wonder where things stood. That kind of hand-holding (in the best way) makes a huge difference when the process can feel so overwhelming. We're also using Happy at Home Contracting - equally amazing! Medardo and team are top tier. Truly cannot say enough good things about Matt and the GHAH team!”

Transit is king and North Beacon provides so many options

Downtown is one mile away, SODO is less than half a mile away, and Capitol Hill is 1.8 miles from North Beacon Hill. This neighborhood already had a light rail station, and with new stations in Capitol Hill and University District, the rest of the city opens up! Direct busses to downtown and to Amazon's SLU campus are abundant and arrive every 10 minutes. Plus if you like to drive, traffic from North Beacon to Seattle at large is just easier. No Montlake Cut dividing NBH from the rest of the city gives you many options by road. Your commute options are plentiful, easy and quick!

Blossoming, North Beacon Hill is moving on up as one of Seattle's premium hoods.

The primary driver of North Beacon Hill is TONS of new construction. Of notable help to the hood in the future is the development of SODO and Pioneer Square, both a stone’s throw from North Beacon Hill. As South Lake Union fills to capacity, SODO and Pioneer Square have been primed for large corporate residence. Weyerhaeuser is moving headquarters from Federal Way to SODO. King 5 just leased 75,000 sq.ft. of space in SODO, and a slew of tech startups call either Pioneer Square or SODO home. It makes sense, as traffic congestion continues to plague SLU; plus, light rail passes right through SODO and Pioneer. As a result NBH has seen new local businesses open there doors to cater to NBH’s lucky residence. It’s like Christmas Day every time a new pub, restaurant, bakery or coffee house opens up. It makes North Beacon an exciting place to watch grow!
