Contact for Showing Contact for ShowingThis home has so many qualities that can't be changed. Features like 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, or an end unit with Southern exposure off of a neighborhood green space. Still, we helped this house out with what could be changed. Nearly everything you touch is new. Updated to reflect a more current design. We focused on bolstering the home natural sun drenched interior. You can't help but feel happy the moment you walk through the door. Come and see what we are talking about!
In this often cloudy city of Seattle, natural light is constantly craved! This southern facing end unit lets the sunshine pour in. And thanks to the A/C, this unit doesn't get overheated in the summer while letting you and your guests feel all the rays.
This townhome really does act more like your traditional "home" in the sense that 90% of the living is done on the top two floors. Yes, you still have a bottom floor for the garage, entry and a GREAT bonus space but your living, dining and bedrooms are located on two floors instead of 3.
Flow straight from your kitchen, out the back door into your private gated yard or even out into the spacious side yard connected to the home.

Surely will help retain your mind. Traffic free, on time and running every six minutes, living by the light rail is like having an elevator to the city! Or perhaps a teleportation devise. Yes I know I'm exaggerating a bit. Still, I didn't realize how awesome the light rail is until I moved to North Beacon and had easy access to the wonder rail! A nice neighborhood walk of 9 minutes gives you reliable, cheap transportation downtown in 23 minutes. Want to get to Capitol Hill? Only 26 minutes away. Truly magical because by car with traffic you could never dream of making it downtown that quickly. A true luxury fully realized only upon living near the light rail.
When our team is thinking about what a house needs to be it's best, often decisions come down to improving the “in-house-experience”. What improves life inside and out as it might be. We never focus on the finish materials individually but how they work together to improve people's experience inside the home. For example, we always want the home to be as bright inside as we can muster. An easy task with this home. A southern end unit will always provide tons of sunlight. Still we want to increase the cheery potential always. Refinish the wood floors with a natural light matte oak finish. This immediately brightens up the interior. Paint the walls a flat white as to limit shine but increase our cheery factor. We also like a home where you can see through the home easily. Uncluttered, fresh, clean, feeling and acting new. We accomplished that in this home. The home makes you feel good inside and out. You can move in and not worry. You will be proud of you new home and that is priceless. You won't need to do anything except move in. After all, you just bought a home and a home like this gives you opportunity to recoup from your purchase. You can't finance in repairs so we took care of that for you.
You might ask yourself why is redevelopment a good thing for a neighborhoods. On it's own redevelopment doesn't always improve everything and others might argue it comes with disadvantages. However, in my view it really depends on what type of redevelopment, where the development is to take place, and how they plan to increase affordable housing to help minimize displacement. Holly Park and Othello Station as a whole are getting vast improvements on what is currently available in all those departments. Seattle has set out to create urban villages in most Seattle neighborhoods. This means rezoning with far more mixed use. This type of rezone offers more stores, restaurants, shops and helps to contribute to more housing which helps create affordable housing in Seattle. Also, with the HALA rezone affordable housing funds are part of the deal. These new retails spaces offer opportunity for local residence to open up their own shops in the neighborhood they love. Last, walkability changes a homes value more than any other single factor. As the urban village develops and fills in it improves the value of all the homes that surround the village. Othello is a light rail station, so the development here will be great for the community shops and should help create opportunity for those who live here.
