A place to play, no matter your game

Forget that Greenlake is a neighborhood. Of course it is but really it’s a recreational spot too. Greenlake is what I call a destination neighborhood. People travel from other Seattle hoods to go to Greenlake.

Greenlake is one of the best hoods in Seattle

Greenlake’s rent is among the highest in Seattle. Folks love the high level of activities, lake, huge parks, and access to downtown, SLU or MSFT Connector. Living in this hood is like living in a vacation town, especially when it’s nice out. For these reasons, Greenlake is loved by all.

You know what else nice

Lots of possibilities here. This is a single family home with no rental restrictions on both long and short term rentals. I suspect in Greenlake with this location (next to EVERYTHING) our little townhouse would be very popular on Airbnb!

Planes, Trains, and Buses… Car’s optional

If you are an avid biker, Green Lake should top your short list of hoods you will want to live. The bike trails and lanes lead all over the city with Green Lake as the center hub. It is also the number one spot for Seattle’s most popular bike shops and there are many. You can also easily catch the MSFT connector from Green Lake or take one of many buses downtown or to SLU. Green Lake has a way of forcing a healthy lifestyle. That's a good thing I think. To be real, if you have to drive Green Lake can be congested for cars. It truly is quicker to ride your bike from here.

Your dog will approve

Green Lake is the best place for your dog to live in Seattle. The scenery is beautiful, you have a set distance you know you will walk and it's easy to get lost in the park. There is also no shortage of grassy areas for your pup to frolic or play catch. Oftentimes I will see dogs running into the water after a duck or stick. It's basically a dogs paradise and therefore my paradise as well. It is also a great place to socialize your dogs with other dogs or people like myself. There are tons of little kids there as well so dogs can get used to people of all sizes.

A place to play no matter your game

Forget that Greenlake is a neighborhood. Of course it is but really it’s a recreational spot too. Greenlake is what I call a destination neighborhood. People travel from other Seattle hoods to go to Greenlake. With a three-mile path wrapping around the lake this hood is popular for runners, walkers, skaters, bikers, and a do walkers. The open park and sports fields are often used by residents and University students for sports like Basketball, Frisbee, and Football. You’ll also find people picnicking, lounging in the grass with friends, or enjoying the many other cultural or culinary delights you’ll find in abundance. Last, Greenlake is Seattle’s bicyclist hub. With a perfect 100 bike score Greenlake occupies a unique position in Seattle. You can ride out of here to any neighborhood with safe bike lanes which all seem to stem from Greenlake. All roads lead here!
