Let's ChatCapitol Hill’s Summit neighborhood is one of the best Seattle neighborhoods to live in if you work in South Lake Union—SLU is just a hop, skip and a jump down the hill! You can hop on the bus, but riding your bike or a scooter is totally an option as well (that is, if you don’t mind braving the hill up Denny Way on the way home. That’s what the bus is for!). If you’re in the southern part of Summit, you’ll find yourself very close to the Capitol Hill Light Rail Station. Getting onto Interstate-5 is easy from here, too.
Local favorites include Top Pot Doughnuts, Summit Public House, Harry’s Fine Foods, The Lookout, Cafe Barjot, Sol Liquor Lounge, and more. Plus, all of the fun eateries along Olive Way are easily accessible, too.
