LOCATION

If you’ve been dreaming about living a car-free (and carefree!) lifestyle, this location makes it all possible. For starters, the Beacon Hill Light Rail Station is less than 400 feet away and can take you from Seatac Airport (the world at your fingertips!) to Greenlake in North Seattle and everywhere in between–soon, even the Eastside will be just a short train ride away! You’ll find everything else you might need easily within reach. Pick up groceries at Hilltop Red Apple right across the street or head to La Esperanza Mercado Y Carniceria for specialized Mexican and Central American fare. One of the major perks of this neighborhood is the fact that you’re surrounded by a huge variety of dining opportunities—North Beacon Hill has truly become a foodie’s paradise and in fact,, we wrote an entire blog post about it. This condo is right next door to Perihelion Brewery and Milk Drunk (both destination restaurants), and places like Fresh Flours, Niko’s Gyros, The Station, Tacos Chukis, Homer, Musang, Oak, and Bar del Corso are all less than 0.3 miles from home. You’re also only a block from local attractions like El Centro De La Raza (where community events are held all year long) and the Beacon Hill Branch of the Seattle Public Library. We seriously cannot rave enough about how excellent this location is!

COMMUTE

Commuting options truly abound with this one. The Beacon Hill Light Rail Station is literally less than 400 feet away, and provides all the benefits of jiffy-quick public transit with none of the nuisance (this section of the light rail is completely underground; out of sight, out of mind!). The light rail already connects you to Seatac, North Seattle, and everywhere in-between. But it gets better! In 2023 the light rail is going to the Eastside, which means you’ll be able to get to Factoria, Bellevue, Redmond, etc. via light rail, too! There are also several useful bus lines in the neighborhood, and right by the Light Rail Station. The #36, #60, and #107 bus lines all pick up. If self-propelled travel is more your thing, good news! Beacon Hill is filled with biking options—check out out our blog post Beacon Hill, A Biker’s Paradise for tons of pro tips on biking through this beautiful neighborhood!

LOW-MAINTENANCE LIVING

This well-run, well-funded building has an HOA that takes care of everything. HOA dues include water, sewer, garbage, and common area maintenance. There’s a great little community here, and things are kept updated and running smoothly. For example, right now, the exterior of the building is getting its tuckpointing redone to keep things in tip-top shape. Additionally, there is a shared storage area in the basement and a shared little patio off of the front communally maintained and cared for by the building residents.

NEIGHBORHOOD UPDATE

In recent years, North Beacon Hill has become a hot and happening neighborhood in part due to its fantastic commuting options, close proximity to Seattle’s Downtown core, and how accessible it is to the Eastside. We have seen many new dining options spring up, and new constructions have kept the community fresh and relevant for savvy city-dwellers. Be on the lookout for some big new developments in the works close by (but not so close as to disrupt your comfort). We just updated one of our blog posts to share some of the biggest developments coming to North Beacon Hill—check it out here!

I love going for walks in our neighborhood. There’s always other people out walking their dogs, and in the summer many people are out working in their gardens.
