LOCATION

Situated in the Central District, this townhome offers effortless accessibility to Capitol Hill, First Hill, Downtown, International District, and more. Need to stock up on fresh ingredients? Amazon Fresh is just 0.6 miles away, and Uwajimaya is only 1 mile away (for example). If you’d prefer to dine out—whether you’re just grabbing a cup of coffee or you’re in the mood for something special for dinner—dozens of restaurants are merely blocks away. Pop over to Broadcast Coffee just down the street, head to Ba Bar Capitol Hill or Carmelos Tacos on 12th, or mosey over to the ID for Vietnamese, Chinese, or Japanese cuisine (and more). There are some great outdoor spaces close by, too—Pratt Park & Spraypark is a couple blocks away, and a bit further you can access the Central Park Trail that guides you through an extensive network of parks including Judkins Park.

COMMUTE

A car-free lifestyle is totally possible here; you’re surrounded by transit options (more on that in the “Tons of Transit” section!), but getting around on foot, bike, scooter, and electric unicycle (hah, people legit use these around here believe it or not!) is totally possible, too. The Central District is huge, but from this particular location, you’re adjacent to Capitol Hill, First Hill, and the International District… as in you’re literally just a couple blocks away from each of these destination neighborhoods. This area is especially popular for those who may need to commute to local medical facilities—for example, Harborview is just 0.7 miles away, Swedish Medical Facilities are just ~0.9 miles away, and Virginia Mason is only 1 mile away. You’re also merely minutes to connect to both Interstate-5 or the I-90 Floating Bridge (the latter of which is perfect for a commute to the Eastside!).

TONS OF TRANSIT

Bus lines, the streetcar, and light rail are all at your fingertips here. Let’s start with just a couple of the popular bus lines close by! The #27 bus is just half a block away, and you can hop on to get straight into Downtown Seattle. Just a few blocks away you’ll find the #14 bus, which presents another great option for getting into downtown. The streetcar presents another convenient mode of public transit; it picks up less than 3 blocks from home, and runs all the way to 1st Ave in the International District (you can easily grab the Link Light Rail, Amtrak Train, or Sounder Train from here) to Cal Anderson Park in Capitol Hill (which is right by the Capitol Hill Link Light Rail Station). And finally—the Link Light Rail provides some excellent commuting options. You already know how to get to the Link Light Rail station sin the ID and in Capitol Hill, but there is another super convenient option as well: In 2023, the the Judkins Park Station is opening (just 0.9 miles away), and here you’ll be able to ride the light rail through several Seattle stops, and even take it over to the Eastside to get to Bellevue, Redmond, etc.

IDEAL LAYOUT

Not all townhome layouts are made equally, and in fact, there are many townhome layouts these days that are just not super livable. This one, however, checks all of the boxes when it comes to our ideal townhouse setup. The ground floor includes 2 bedrooms while the upper floor features the primary suite, offering great privacy. Of course, you have room for a home office (or 2!) should you need it. On the main level, discover generous, modern living. We absolutely love all of the natural light here, and the kitchen is pretty AND practical… don’t miss the walk-in pantry (a total rarity in a townhouse!).

From the Neighbors

“Central District is a good all around neighborhood and has something to offer everyone which I think is unique for most neighborhoods. The location in the city also allows for easy commuting all over while keeping prices still somewhat reasonable.”
