Several convenient bus lines run through the neighborhood as well; the #79 picks up about half a block away and it will take you into the University District. There are several other bus lines in the area—where do you need to go?! This location is also particularly great if you need to get to Downtown Seattle/South Lake Union, or over to the Eastside; Interstate-5 is just 2 minutes from home, and the 520 Bridge is only 6 minutes away!
