LOCATION

We can’t say enough good things about this location. You can walk to the light rail through the neighborhood with your travel luggage and get to the airport. And soon you will be able to ride the light rail all the way to Northgate. You don’t even really need a car in North Beacon Hill—in fact, more people bike to and from work in North Beacon Hill than any other neighborhood in Seattle. Plus, restaurants like Homer, Musang, Perihelion, Oak, Tacos Chukis, Bar Del Corso, or Tippe and Drague all offer cultural and culinary delights, and they’re all just a stroll away.

COMMUTE

All good news here for most Seattleites—North Beacon Hill scores VERY high in the commuting department. Pick a transit option, and you’re a quick ride from all of Seattle’s large employment centers. Soon you will even be able to take a light rail from North Beacon to King Station in the International District and hop the light rail to downtown Bellevue or Microsoft. That is going to be a big deal. And that says nothing about how much easier it is to commute to South Lake Union or Downtown Seattle. We know there are more than a few couples out there that have to commute to both cities… this neighborhood is the ideal compromise!

VALUE

Like much of Seattle, the housing market in North Beacon Hill has been on the uptick. After bottoming out in 2019, NBH is up 4.1% for similar homes sold year over year. Those numbers grow as you draw nearer to the neighborhood shops.

AIRBNB PERFECTION

This townhome presents a truly rare opportunity to have a short-term or long-term rental right in your own home. On the 1st floor, you’ll find the ideal Airbnb guest suite, complete with a bedroom, bath, and a living space with a wet bar. Having an Airbnb suite in your primary residence means fewer logistical issues, and it makes it so much easier to clean and manage on your own, too (meaning bigger profits since you won’t have to pay a management company!). Comparable Airbnbs in North Beacon Hill can make anywhere from $120 to $180+ per night (which includes an average cleaning fee), and even if you only have 80% occupancy and make $100/night, you could be bringing in $2,400/month.

I love going for walks in our neighborhood. There’s always other people out walking their dogs, and in the summer many people are out working in their gardens.
