Wonder of Westlake

Situated in the heart of the city in Seattle’s Westlake neighborhood, here you’re just a couple blocks to Lake Union and merely minutes to parks, a huge variety of dining, and more. For starters, if you need to pick up a quick bite to eat, head to Lyon’s Grocery or Westlake Deli and Grocery just a couple blocks away. As you head south along Dexter Ave, an awesome variety of restaurants are all less than a mile from home—Herikimer Coffee, Stone Korean, tanoor Seattle, Tacos Chukis, Tea King, MotherIndia Cuisine, and more are all within reach. And while you’re at the center of the city, there are some lovely parks close by—take Dexter Way up to the Northeast Queen Anne Greenbelt to stroll amidst the trees!

The Westlake neighborhood is prime commuting territory! Neighborhoods like South Lake Union, Queen Anne, and Fremont are right at your fingertips, and they’re all popular hubs for employers. The #62 bus picks up just a block away, and this bus will take you into South Lake Union and Downtown Seattle or in the other direction to Fremont and beyond. Biking around the area is another great option—it’s less than 1 mile to SLU, only 1 mile to Fremont, and only about 1.5 miles to Downtown Seattle (depending where you need to go!). When you need to get around with a car, the onramp to Highway 99 is only about a ~2-minutes drive away, and Interstate-5 is only about a 6-minute drive away!

This Westlake Wonder has a reverse floorplan, but before we talk about why we love reverse floorplans… what’s a reverse floorplan? Well, when people think of a “classic” home layout, oftentimes the main living area is on the ground floor, and the bedrooms are all upstairs. But with a reverse floorplan, the bedrooms are on the lower level(s), and the main living area is at the top. This usually means that the main living areas have tons of natural light (here in Washington we need all the sun we can get!), and bedrooms can be darker (perfect for getting your zzzz’s in). There are also usually better views (which is definitely the case with this townhouse… Lake Union, you are looking fineeee!), and the rooftop deck is just a staircase away. Lake Union is the gift that keeps on giving. Not only do you have views, views, views of this iconic Seattle landmark and destinations, but it’s literally 0.1 mile from home! Here you can access to Cheshiahud Lake Union Loop to get in your steps for the day while you take in the views. The loop connects 35 pocket parks along the lake and wraps around the entire lake. Take up a new hobby (Seattle Scuba Schools is just blocks from home!), or love living close to wherever you choose to dock your boat. Spend summer days kayaking, paddle boarding, and enjoys views of all of the watercraft passing by!
