Situated in the heart of Mount Baker, this townhome is surrounded by city convenience and even has several scenic parks close by. For starters, you’ve got tons of dining options nearby, whether you want to pick up a bite to eat or go grocery shopping. Both Safeway and QFC are just 0.4 miles away, and local eateries in the immediate vicinity include popular spots like The Original Philly’s, Viengthong, Cafe Ibex, Wingstop, Pho Bac, Rainier Teriyaki, Little Chengdu, Taqueria El Asadero… and more! When you’d like to expand your outdoor space, you’re 5 minutes or less to *several* parks including Mt Baker Park, Lake Washington, Mount Baker Beach, Colman Park, Genesee Park & Playfield, Jefferson Park, etc.

One of this townhome’s top perks is its close proximity to the Mt Baker Light Rail Station; you’re just 0.3 miles (or a 7-minute walk) to the station. You can take the light rail into Downtown Seattle, and all the way north to University of Washington, and then you can take it south straight to SeaTac International Airport. (If you travel often, this is a great way to enjoy a traffic-free, hassle-free ride to the airport!) In 2023, the Judkins Park Light Rail Station will open, providing access to the Eastside via Light Rail. This is a HUGE deal for the area and accessibility of the Eastside! Just about a block from home you can also hop on the #7 bus line which also goes straight into Downtown Seattle.

On the first floor, the perfect guest suite awaits. There’s separate access so visitors can come and go as they please, and there’s also attached access so if you have out-of-town guests, there’s easy flow between your space and theirs. There’s a separate bedroom, and a living area with its own kitchen. You could easily rent out this space to a long-term renter, keep the space open for visitors, or use it as a short-term rental on a platform like Airbnb. From our own experience, we know that Airbnb guests LOVE having easy access to transit, and the ease of using the Light Rail is especially appealing. Currently, there are only a handful of Airbnbs in the Mount Baker area, and renting an entire home with its own kitchen will run you about $200-$500 per night (this obviously varies quite a bit based on how big the space is, how many bedrooms there are, and how new the home is). Since this guest suite is smaller than the townhomes that are being rented out and only has one bedroom, we estimate you could easily rent it out for $120-$150 per night, with higher rates during holidays and the summer. That’s easily $4,500/month, which doesn’t even include cleaning fees.

This beauty’s rooftop perch is totally ready for the summer! An enormous rooftop deck is all yours here, and there’s more than enough room for a crowd at your next sunny soirée. Seriously; we’re not sure we’ve seen a rooftop this big on a Seattle townhome before! There’s more than enough space for a comfy outdoor dining set (or 2), an outdoor living area, and there’s even room for your furry friends to hangout and play!
