Nestled right in between Kent and Maple Valley, Covington is a small city in King County. While you’ll find everything you need here by way of shopping centers and city convenience, you also get to take advantage of some more “small town” community happenings!

Covington Aquatic Center Events

Not every city has its own aquatic center! Not only can you take advantage of things like swimming lessons (click here to read 7 ways to take advantage of the Covington Aquatics Center) but there are some fun events they put on throughout the year. Things like an Underwater Egg Hunt for Easter, Friday Night Party Swims, Spooky Swim (for Halloween!), the Summer Splashtacular and more are all on the calendar!

Kentwood High School Events

Located right in the heart of Covington, Kentwood High School is where you’ll find events like outdoor family movies to the location of the Summer’s End 5K Fun Run/Walk.

The Covington Library Events

The Covington Library has a full schedule of events, classes, and other happenings. Stop by with little ones for a toddler storytime, enjoy painting nights, attend talks on a variety of topics, learn how to play games like Dungeons & Dragons, talk to a Master Gardener and ask any questions you might have… and much more.
